Day 21: FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD!
A Happy Bunny update
A quick update of what’s been happening for me over the last 24 hours.
A True Break Fast

Today I broke my fast with a delicious home made soup. I wanted to have something which would help ground me so I used a lot of vegetables grown in the ground. If you split the body in to three floors – feet to navel = basement, navel to neck = main rooms, neck to top of head = attic, as a general guide, foods grown underground are good to ground you, foods grown on the ground are good for the main rooms of the house i.e. the middle segment, and foods grown in trees are good for the upper rooms. My soup had:
- Potatoes (two types)
- Turnip/ Swede
- Carrots
- Yellow Squash
- Parsnip
- Sweet potato (two types)
- Barley
- Quinoa
- Buckwheat
- Fresh Oregano from my garden
- Himalayan Rock salt
- North Queensland pepper
- Braggs liquid aminos
It was the MOST delicious soup EVER! … well I’m sure anything would have been, but I would have to say that it does taste absolutely delicious. If you’re in Brisbane, come round soon as there is plenty to go round.
Also, my special home made cheese was made from unpasturised local organic milk (from happy cows!), garlic, oregano, salt and pepper and a few spoonfuls of organic yogurt. You can see it on the plate on the tiny mountain bread pieces.

Hard Core Weight Watchers - Before and After
OK, so here are my before and after photos. I took the first set a few days into my fast so it wasn’t quite the first day. I think you can see that there’s less of me in the second photo and as a result it looks like I’m tougher! Well I am! GRRRRR… Well to be honest, my constitution is a lot tougher as I now know for a fact that if I’m in an air crash in the middle of some far away jungle and having nothing to survive on but the blood of the occassional snake and rainwater, then I’ll be fine for weeks!
My plan now is to spend a reasonable amount of time in the gym and build on the frame I’ve created. I spoke to a personal trainer today and she’s going to do a fat check as I think anything in the 20%+ range for me is actually quite high, so I’d like to see with the pincer test.
Body Building
Bella took these photos for me (thanks lovely), and I was very surprised to see the body building look I had in the tall shot. I never thought I’d look like that and although I will certainly bulk up and round the edges (I don’t like the really muscle bound look), I am going to work to create a more defined frame. Also, building good abs is always a winner as that protects my bank and gives me that core stability which is so important to avoid back issues in future.
Best before date
I hearby anounce that I have found my best before date. It is 31st March 2076. This is a few days after my 102nd birthday. I intend to stay fit and healthy till at least that date and as we all know, the best before date is just a guide and if I’m still having fun, that will be extended! I’ve also used calculated that using my special Fibonacci Code using the 3, 13, 89 of the code.
Time management Training tomorrow
I’m training another new course tomorrow so better go to bed – it’s Time Management … don’t want to be late!

Quinoa, Buckwheat, Barley and other old grains
I was like a child in a candy store this morning at the markets and bought heaps of fruit and vegetables – I mean HEAPS! This included oranges, lemons, limes, apples, 6kg carrots, a 9kg watermelon, beetroots, kale, 2 bags of guavas and a handful of other delicious items. I can’t wait to get juicing tomorrow and watermelon is on the top of my list. FYI, an organic watermelon that size only cost $18 which I thought was very reasonable. Back to my friend Don Tolman, he apparently fasted for 90 days on watermelon and watermelon juice alone!

Off to bed now as I walked around the markets for about 3 hours as well as had a huge walk along the beach on Sunshine Beach.
Papaya or Paw Paw
And another fact about food. At one university in the US, they took a single tomato and took all the seeds out of it and planted them. After either two or three harvests of those tomatoes and doing the same thing, they were able to produce enough tomatoes to feed 200,000 people tomatoes three times per day … FOR EVER. Ok, not such an exciting diet, but when you think about it that way, there really shouldn’t be a food shortage anywhere.
